Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: To analyze business requirements, design, configure, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions, with a strong focus on Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Sales Order Processing. The role bridges business needs with system functionality, ensuring efficient warehouse, logistics, and sales order fulfillment processes, while supporting continuous improvement and post-implementation optimization. Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & Solution DesignLead workshops to gather and document requirements for supply chain, warehouse, and sales order processes.Analyze current business workflows and identify opportunities for optimization through D365 SCM functionalities.Prepare functional design documents (FDDs) and translate business needs into system solutions.System Configuration & ImplementationConfigure and implement D365 SCM modules including Warehouse Management, Inventory, Procurement, Transportation, and Sales Order Processing.Set up warehouse-specific functions: wave planning, location directives, work templates, mobile device menus, and label printing.Design and optimize end-to-end processes covering inbound/outbound logistics, sales order management, picking, packing, replenishment, cross-docking, and cycle counting.Testing, Training & Go-Live SupportConduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and prepare test scripts.Deliver user training sessions and develop training documentation.Provide go-live and hypercare support to ensure smooth transition to new systems.Integration & Continuous ImprovementCollaborate with technical teams to integrate D365 with external systems (barcode scanners, handheld devices, TMS, reporting tools).Provide ongoing post-implementation support and drive process improvements across supply chain and sales operations.Identify areas for enhancement and recommend best practices to improve efficiency and user adoption.EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Additional exposure to Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business disciplines is an advantage.Minimum 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / SCM.Hands-on expertise in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Sales Order Processing.Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle D365 SCM implementations.In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (sales, procurement, warehousing, logistics, inventory).Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Team Collaboration: Working effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.Adaptability: Adjusting to new conditions and challenges quickly.Customer Focus: Prioritizing customer needs and providing excellent service.Problem-Solving: Identifying issues and finding effective solutions.
