Who We AreBy joining our project, you will be working on an initiative of the European Commission focused on creating a more efficient, modern and secure customs environment within the European Union. Being part of this initiative set on a 2 years’ timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud.This purposeful project will not only give you the opportunity to have an impact on one of the key topics within the European Union, it will also offer you various professional opportunities, let you experience a collaborative environment, using cutting-edge technologies and experiencing diversity in your everyday professional life.This position will be a critical partner on the Business and Organizational Change & Learning team providing thought leadership, and dedicated to change management and learning strategies and plans to ensure success. The Change Manager will be responsible for overseeing the transition of the managed services from incumbent to a new service provider, ensuring alignment with business constraints and maintaining service continuity throughout the process.What You'll Be DoingDesign and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for the provider transition.Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure seamless service handover.Manage the transition from the existing operational model to the new model, ensuring service continuity.Monitor and report on change progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.Ensure alignment with business constraints and regulatory requirements.Facilitate workshops, meetings, and communication plans to support change adoption.Maintain detailed documentation of change activities, decisions, and outcomes.Support incident and problem management processes during the transition phase.What you'll bring alongBachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in IT change management or service transition roles.Proven experience in managing provider transitions in complex IT environments.Strong knowledge of ITIL change management processes and EC governance frameworks.Excellent project management skills with experience in multi-vendor coordination.Advanced reporting skills including dashboards, KPIs, and executive summaries.Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are highly desirable.Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage stress and resolve conflicts during high-impact transitions.Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Excellent command of both spoken and written English
