Job Title – Business ConsultantLocation – Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – Remote (Onsite up to 4 times per year)Employment Type – ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Business Consultant to support the modernization of registry services within the client . The successful candidate will gather requirements, assess process gaps, and partner with stakeholders to deliver improved operational efficiency for Motor Vehicle and Land Titles-related applications.Key Responsibilities• Facilitate business requirements sessions, process walkthroughs, and stakeholder interviews• Perform gap analysis between current legacy systems and future state modernized solutions• Develop user stories, use cases, flow diagrams, and non-technical documentation to support system delivery• Assist with creation and updates to business process documents, procedural manuals, and policy recommendations• Support change management, training, and post-implementation review activities• Collaborate with privacy and security teams on compliance, STRA, and PIA documentation• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, progress reporting, and Agile ceremoniesMandatory Skills & Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or business consulting roles• Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements, workflows, and business processes• Experience supporting Motor Vehicle Registries modernization projects• Strong knowledge of Agile/Hybrid delivery models (SCRUM preferred), and tools such as JIRA• Ability to apply and interpret relevant legislation, policies, and compliance standards• Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skillsPreferred Skills• Experience with Land Titles or Registries systems supporting compliance and operational efficiency• Background working with public sector transformation initiatives• Knowledge of multiple SDLC methods (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban)• Experience evaluating programs and policy-driven service modelsWhy Join Us• Work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment• Professional growth opportunities and training support• Inclusive, equitable, and respectful workplace cultureAbout NetworkPediaNetworkPedia is a certified women-owned technology and talent solutions company, providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and specialized recruitment across North Americas and beyond.
