We are looking for a driven and business-oriented Business Controller to join our finance team at BabyBjörn. This position is based in our Sundbyberg office and reports to the Global CFO. As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting our continued growth and success at group level. This role requires ability to identify and develop tools to analyse profitability drivers in both D2C and B2B contexts. Experience in establishing reporting structures and a solid business case approach is essential. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of working independently to implement these processes effectively, contributing to the overall success and growth of BabyBjörn.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead and develop the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement action plans to address financial challenges.Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development/assortment, and operations, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management.Reporting: Prepare, automate, and present comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.Cost Management: Oversee cost control initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimizing profitability.Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Development of Business Tools: Create and implement tools to understand and analyse profitability drivers in both D2C and B2B contexts, supporting strategic business decisions.Segment Reporting: Establish and refine segment reporting structures to provide clear insights into the dynamics of different business areas and support strategic planning.Margin and Assortment Analysis: Analyse sales and margin on product level to understand and optimise impact from changes in product mix, prices, product cost etc. Profile Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.Several years of experience in business control, preferably from a premium brand or retail environment.Proficiency in financial and business intelligence systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).Experience from working in an international group with multiple subsidiaries.Experience with multichannel retail operations is highly desirable.Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus).Personal Characteristics:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to details.Curious with a strong drive to identify areas of improvement and apply new ways of working including AI.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.Commercially minded, with a solid understanding of business drivers.Team-oriented and able to build relationships at all levels of the organization.We are looking forward to receiving your application!Application reviews and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so send your application as soon as possible, but no later than November 28, 2025.
