Financial Controller – ItalyLocation: Milan, ItalyReports to: CFOOverviewOn behalf of our client, a fast-growing private equity–backed business, we are seeking a high-calibre Financial Controller to lead financial operations in Italy. The role suits a technically strong professional with a Big 4 background and proven experience in a PE or high-growth environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting, reporting, and cash management.Lead month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance (IFRS / Italian GAAP).Prepare management reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.Maintain robust internal controls and support audit processes.Partner with management and investors on financial strategy and performance.Drive process improvement and support M&A and integration activity.RequirementsDegree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, etc.) preferred.Background in Big 4 audit or advisory.Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth company.Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.Fluent in Italian and English.Hands-on, analytical, and commercially minded.Immediately Available
