Business Controller

Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client in Lancaster that is looking for a Business Controller. This person will partner with the leaders of the businesses to improve forecasting, cost control, understanding of financial position, capital investment analyses, and review of month end financials and assurance of appropriate accruals and accounting accuracy.Provides business units with financial reporting, KPIs and metricsWorks with business units to complete projections (budgets, forecasts and midterm plans)Complete capex review and forms; reviews investment opportunities and metricsReviews month end prelim P&Ls for correctnessPrepares and reviews certain accrualsOversight in annual inventory and fixed assetsReviews cost data and make recommendations on potential actions to improve cost controlPrepares and analyzes annual budgets based on past performance and future expectations.Participates in accounts receivable collections to achieve goals.Prepares and reviews capital spending requests to ensure capital is being spent effectively and capital is being properly controlled.BS/BA in Accounting or related fieldMinimum 5 years accountingFinancial Planning & Analysis experience required
