We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Business Controller with a strong passion to enable good steering and planning processes and tools.The role involves supporting and driving financial processes, participating in strategic decision-making and ensuring that financial targets are met.Research & Development is currently undergoing major changes in ways of working, systems and roles - and Controlling is evolving accordingly. Operating in a global context, Controlling plays an important role as a business partner. You will actively contribute to designing and implementing the future financial management model.Job ResponsibilitiesThe position includes a variety of ongoing responsibilities within finance and controlling, such as:Financial planning, budgeting and forecastingActively influencing development costsFinancial closing, analysis and reportingKPI tracking, follow-up and presentationsYou will report to the Head of Business Control R&D and actively support an R&D function where you will be part of a global management team. You will work across networks and leadership teams and maintain regular contact with TRATON R&D and other Controlling functions.Who You AreMaster’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial EngineeringAt least 5 years of relevant experience within business controllingExperience working in management teams within an international environment is a strong advantageStructured, analytical, and results-oriented, with the ability to deliver within your area of responsibilityStrong business acumen, show interest of our products and have a high level of integrityHave the ability and interest to build relationships, with both finance and non-finance employees, and by that build trust to be able to influence across all levels of the organizationCommunication skills, as this role involves extensive collaboration across the organization, an efficient and clear way of communicating is essential.Be analytic in a changing environment, there clear answers always do not exist, and adapt to new situations with a problem solving mindsetAdvanced system and analytical skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI, with familiarity with SAP considered highly advantageousFluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and writtenThis Is UsYour core team will consist of four business controllers and me as manager. We are a diverse team that supports the Powertrain development business within TRATON R&D.
