You will be instrumental in identifying and cultivating strategic partnership with institutional clients and provide coverage to support the growth of the institutional trading, RFQ, market-making and execution services.This role will leverage on relationship development, networking and account management skills in order to attract, educate and close new partnerships into the world of digital asset and cryptocurrency. Client profile includes venture capital, institutional funds, foundation, project teams, exchanges, Defi protocol etc.Key ResponsibilitiesClient acquisition and retention; To provide active institutional coverage in Asian time zone, Identify and establish strategic partnership with various institution group for trading deskMaintain and grow existing relationship through communication, building leads and networking with C-suit partnersDevelop and implement innovative strategies to drive company growthBuilding on key client’s service processes and enhance seamless counterparty experienceBuild a robust pipeline by prospecting, networking and leveraging on industry relationshipsImplement client retention strategies, conduct regular updates and reviewCollaborate with cross functional initiatives such as technology, Defi partners to ensure seamless execution for client’s solutionProvide periodical market insights on competitive landscape, understand market changes, latest development, communicate with various team and finding optimal solutions.Act as a feedback bridge between clients and internal teams to drive product development and service improvements.Deal Lifecycle Ownership, Conference & External Representation, Data-Driven & Strategic Approach, Commercial Structuring & Negotiation, Segmented Client Strategies, Compliance & Legal Collaboration, Regional Market Coverage, Client Feedback Loop to ProductRequirements & QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or related field2-4 year’s experience in business development or institutional coverage roles in Finance, technology or digital asset and blockchain industryClient focus mindset: Ability to convert and close, exceptional communicator and client management skills, proactive in client engagement and building relationshipExperience with institutional trading, market-making knowledgeKeen interest in blockchain and knowledge about different protocol and defi tradingResults-driven, with a proven track record of meeting and converting sales and commercial agreementsExceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills, ability to converse with key decision makersFlexible in variety of situations, able to work under pressureWorking at Herring Global:Like-minded Crypto enthusiast environment, to be part of the pioneer of Herring GlobalInternational presence with flat organisation hierarchyGlobal exposure and direct collaboration with C-level stakeholdersCareer development opportunities in a fast-growing companyCompetitive SalaryFlexible working hours, Casual work attireComprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependantsVarious team building programs and company eventsNice-to-haves:Prior experience in Web3, DeFi, or crypto-native companiesProficient in English and other languages a plus
