(1)Job Description – Business Development and Financial Strategy Manager Organization: ANC Microfinance BankLocation: Abuja, FCT, NigeriaPosition Type: Full-time | Mid–Senior LevelReporting To: Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer Eudora & Aegle Management Consulting, on behalf of our client- a visionary and impact-driven business group – is recruiting a business Development and Financial Strategy Manager who will be responsible for driving business expansion, developing strategic financial initiatives, and enhancing the bank’s profitability and market competitiveness. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, optimizing financial performance, and fostering sustainable growth in line with CBN regulations and the bank’s mission. Key Responsibilities: 1.   Strategic Business Planning: Develop and implement business growth strategies aligned with the bank’s strategic plan and financial goals.2.   Product & Market Development: Design innovative loan, savings, and digital financial products tailored to MSMEs, cooperatives, and retail customers.3.   Financial Strategy & Performance: Analyze financial performance, manage revenue projections, and recommend strategies to improve profitability and cost efficiency.4.   Customer Acquisition & Retention: Lead initiatives to grow and retain the bank’s customer base through market research, partnerships, and targeted campaigns.5.   Partnerships & Funding: Identify and secure partnerships with development finance institutions, NGOs, and investors to increase the bank’s capital base and outreach.6.   Digital Transformation: Collaborate with IT and operations to enhance digital banking services, automation, and customer experience.7.   Credit Growth & Risk Alignment: Work with the credit team to ensure that business growth aligns with prudent risk management and regulatory standards.8.   Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, competitor activities, and emerging financial technologies to guide strategic decisions.9.   Team Leadership & Capacity Building: Mentor and supervise business development officers, fostering a performance-driven and customer-centric culture.10. The role focuses on financial planning, risk management, capital allocation, and performance optimization to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and corporate governance excellence..Key Responsibilities: 1.   Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that support the Group’s overall business objectives and expansion plans.2.   Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance analysis for all subsidiaries.3.   Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.4.   Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee liquidity, working capital, and investment strategies to maintain optimal cash flow across business units.5.   Risk & Compliance Management: Implement financial controls, internal audit systems, and risk mitigation frameworks that ensure regulatory compliance.6.   Capital Structuring & Funding: Develop and manage financing strategies, investor relations, and partnerships with banks, investors, and funding institutions.7.   Business Performance Optimization: Analyze subsidiary performance, profitability, and cost structures to guide strategic decision-making.8.   Tax & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory filings, and corporate governance requirements.9.   Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. 10. Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the Group Managing Director, Head of Business Development, and subsidiary CEOs to align financial management with growth and operational excellence.
