The individual will develop and execute strategies to expand client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and drive revenue generation. Responsibilities include market research, engaging with new and existing clients, building strategic partnerships, preparing proposals, and representing the company at industry events. The role demands proactive engagement with stakeholders and alignment with organizational goals to provide innovative solutions and business expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute Aether’s business growth strategy for the Japanese semiconductor market.Build strong relationships with semiconductor OEMs, equipment manufacturers, R&D groups, and technology partners.Identify engineering collaboration opportunities in semiconductor equipment design, development, and systems engineering.Represent Aether in client meetings, industry events, and technology discussions to promote our capabilities and solutions.Drive the full business development cycle: lead generation, prospecting, partnership development, and deal closure.Collaborate with Aether’s India-based engineering teams to align client needs with technical solutions.Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and growth opportunities to leadership.Ensure smooth communication and long-term relationship management with Japanese clients.Qualifications3+ years of business development, sales, or partnership experience—preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech sectors.Strong network within Japan’s semiconductor industry (OEMs, fabs, equipment makers, suppliers).Ability to understand engineering needs and translate them into project opportunities.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with fluency in Japanese / Korean and English.Proven ability to work independently, build a local presence, and deliver measurable growth.Cultural fluency and ability to bridge communication between Japanese clients and global teams.What We OfferOpportunity to build and shape Aether’s business in one of the world’s most advanced semiconductor markets.A high-impact role with autonomy and growth potential.Collaboration with world-class engineering teams in a fast-growing deep-tech company.Performance-based incentives, and benefits.
