Job Description

We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development professional with experience in high-value B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, selling large-scale or high-value solutions rather than small retail or shop-level products. Someone with a strong background in strategic business development and experience selling to enterprise-level accounts. You need to demonstrate success in building and managing complex client relationships and negotiating large deals.Key Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manpower and recruitment space.Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their staffing needs and workforce strategies.Drive revenue growth through lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.Collaborate with the recruitment team and Business Unit Manager to ensure delivery of high-quality staffing solutions.Analyse market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.Prepare and present service proposals, capability statements, and project tenders.Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and onboarding to account management and after-sales service.Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent AltGen and build a strong professional presence.Oversee and respond to RFQs/RFPs, develop tender proposals, and support bid management processes.Track and report on business development metrics, pipeline progress, and client feedback.Contribute to marketing and branding initiatives that position AltGen as a leader in manpower solutions.Requirements:Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 5+ experience in business development.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing long-term client relationships.Proven experience in managing RFQs/RFPs, preparing tender proposals, and supporting bid management processes.Strong understanding of manpower regulations, workforce management, and recruitment processes.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently and comfortable working in a start-up environment.
