An ideal candidate will have freight forwarding sales experience and a strong track record of creating, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This individual will excel at identifying and qualifying leads while leveraging a consultative sales approach to secure deals with both new and existing customers, driving revenue growth and long-term partnerships.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Generating new business leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and online platforms.Consistently follow up on potential leads by scheduling meetings, demos, and securing senior management support when needed.Identify client needs and work with internal teams to deliver customized solutions, positioning SFS as a trusted service provider.Manage complex negotiations and close deals with both new and existing customers.Respond to pricing requests promptly, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining high customer service standards.Use CRM systems to track leads, manage pipelines, and monitor sales performance.Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new clients.Maintain strong market knowledge by tracking competitors, industry trends, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.Align with company sales policies and strategies while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through a consultative and solution-driven approach.
