This is a high-impact position where your entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills will directly influence enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.If you are motivated by results, enjoy leading teams, and want to shape the future of AI & Data strategies for top organizations, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Development Director in Life Sciences, you will:Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth:Lead the identification, engagement, and acquisition of new enterprise clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, and healthcare organizationsDevelop and execute strategic outbound initiatives, including executive-level networking, thought leadership engagements, and targeted outreach campaignsQualify and prioritize opportunities to align Visium's AI & Data capabilities with client business objectivesSolution Discovery & Client Alignment:Conduct discovery meetings with C-level and senior stakeholders to understand critical business challenges, regulatory considerations, and innovation priorities in life sciencesShape tailored proposals and presentations that demonstrate how Visium's solutions accelerate R&D, optimize operations, and improve patient outcomes. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful execution of client projects and measurable impactMaintain deep knowledge of the Life Sciences sector, including trends in AI, data analytics, digital R&D, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapeLeadership & Team Development:Mentor and develop junior business development and client engagement professionals, fostering commercial acumen and domain expertise in life sciencesDrive a culture of collaboration across sales, delivery, and marketing teams to maximize client impact and market presenceDefine performance goals, track progress, and share insights to optimize team effectivenessRequirementsTo succeed in this role, you bring a combination of expertise, experience, and skills including:6 - 8 years of experience in business development, client engagement, or strategic consulting, ideally within the Life Sciences sectorProven ability to drive enterprise client acquisition and revenue growth in complex, regulated industriesStrong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and fostering commercial and technical expertiseExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholdersEntrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and highly results-orientedFluent in English, German/French will be considered as a plus.
