Somewhere reliable, but different.Your Day to Dayvoco Orchard Singapore is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to be part of this exciting team. As Sales Executive, you will develop new sales opportunities and manage assigned account base in order to generate revenue and maximise performance both for the short and long term in line with sales target with guidance and supervision. To maintain flexibility to perform other duties and projects as required and as directed by leadership team as deemed necessary to support Hotel’s overall business objectives.Manage assigned account base to meet targets for total revenueResearch market place to actively prospect and qualify potential new accountsDevelop relationship and maintain contact with key decision makers, influencers, meeting planners, event organisers, associations and other producers to produce group and/or convention business, room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services Maintain client files and update information daily in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. Produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Accurately produce and/or review all sales contracts and rate agreements.Monitor and report on sales activity undertaken and measurement of results through maintaining of accurate records in the sales tools and action plans.Planning and preparation for sales visit, trade fairs, educational or familiarization groups to promote the hotel and develop potential businessMonitor competitor practices and accounts, monthly RGI scorecards and diagnostic tools in order to understand competitor trendsProvide administrative support to the team where requiredArrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.Entertain clients in accordance with established company and hotel policies and guidelinesWhat We Need From YouAt least a Diploma in Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related discipline.Minimum 1 year experience in Sales within hospitality industryExperienced sales coordinators currently working in the industry are welcome to applyProficient in Microsoft Office applications.Flexible work approach.Excellent Customer Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Results-Oriented & Highly MotivatedGreat communication skills, both written and spoken in EnglishIndependent and able to make good decision.Proven ability to plan & execute events effectively with a strong attention to details.What We OfferWe’ll reward all your hard work with a great salary and benefits – great room discount and superb training.Join us and you’ll become part of the global IHG family – and like all families, all our individual team members share some winning characteristics.
