We are hiring a Business Development Executive - Client Programmes to join the Strategic Client Programmes team. In this role you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and will help to drive the strategic client programmes for our priority accounts. You will bring strong commercial and analytical skills to client management and operate as part of the Strategic Accounts and Relationship Management team.This is a business development focused role and would be particularly well-suited to someone looking to grow their expertise in client programme management and strategic BD initiatives.This role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts and requires a deep understanding of the fundamentals of strategic account management, a passion for the B2B market and the ability to deliver on the business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.About the roleIn this role you will:assist in managing the client programmes and contribute to sustaining and growing our business;develop deep knowledge of client’s business and market, evaluating trends and developments to identify new market opportunities with clients;support the development and implementation of strategic client development and account plans;oversee the execution of the business development strategy and activities;work with the bids team to pursue opportunities with priority accounts;collaborate with the Practice Area Marketing and BD team to identify and execute plans for market awareness, client case studies and growth within assigned accounts;work with the CRM system to analyse, report and track and update client interactions; andmonitor performance KPIs, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports including a thorough analysis of the report findings.About the personYou have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of strategic key account management;You are an effective communicator, articulate and credible with an ability to collaborate and build relationships internally;You have a keen eye for detail and a drive to achieve business objectives;You have a commercial mind-set and an analytical approach;You have some experience with CRM software and account management reporting;You have a strong organisational and administration skills with a meticulous approach; the ability to multitask will be of help in this role; andYou are a strong starter finisher and results driven and an excellent team player.Why join MathesonAt Matheson you have the opportunity to work with exceptional people and a broad range of high calibre domestic and international clients.
