This position will suit somebody who enjoys structure, has excellent communication skills, takes the initiative, and thrives on achieving targets.Working alongside the Business Development Manager to qualify, win and process orders;Creating, calculating and following up on technical quotes from sales enquiries;Answering customer queries, providing exceptional customer service and upselling where possibleMaintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers;Telemarketing to new and existing prospects to promote our products and services;General administrative duties, including answering phone calls, emailing, and data entry into our CRM (HubSpot) and ERP (Epicor) systems.The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.All Treadwell employees can rise through the ranks, be trained, and be exposed to other departments and operational duties. Naturally, the Sales Support position can grow into the following roles: Customer Service Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Estimator, Product Manager, Technical Sales Support, and more.Must Haves To be successful in this position, you must be a driven individual who can work autonomously. A minimum of 1 year’s sales or sales support experience and a minimum of 2 years of administration experience will catch our attention. Along with what is mentioned above, the following will also catch your eye:Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients via email and phone;Results-oriented while maintaining high attention to detail;Exposure to selling a technical/engineered product will be advantageous (but not necessary);Basic mathematic skills to perform quote calculations;Industry experience will be advantageous.Good time management skills;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Good problem-solving skills;Able to work autonomously and have the ability and willingness to learn;BenefitsAt Treadwell, we pride ourselves on our strong workplace culture.
