Multigate is looking for a detailed and well oriented and driven Business Development Executive who will be in charge of increasing company revenue and expanding our client portfolio. The individual should be persuasive and have strong business acumen as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and engaging prospective clients. Direct sales accountability—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced and target-driven environments. Duties/ResponsibilitiesDriving new business acquisition and Revenue growth with the Business Lead on some of the organisation's key growth initiatives.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Solutions, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfactionDrive ambitious sales growth and meet or exceed quarterly targetsTarget and acquire new accounts through prospecting and networkingLeverage existing relationships and networks to generate new business opportunities at scaleBe the main communicator of the organisation's value proposition to clientsDeveloping and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads through market research, networking, referrals, and outbound outreachDevelop, manage and constantly improve on your personal lead generation through proactive networking via digital and face-to-face channels and eventsNegotiating contract terms and closing deals in line with company targets and policiesMaintaining accurate records of sales activity, pipeline progression, and client interactions using CRM toolsPresent, promote and sell products and services through product demos to prospective and existing PartnersPerform cost-benefit and needs analysis with existing/potential Partners in order to align our solutions to their needs and business objectivesEngaging and managing relationships with referral partners and distributor partnersEstablish and maintain positive Partner relationshipsRequirementsBachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field (preferred)3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales, having worked at SaaS, financial, investment software companies or large data vendorsExperience commercializing enterprise SaaS solutions and platformsExceptional networking skills - able to penetrate target organisations to drive the right engagement to win businessA confident communicator with gravitas, able to sell consultatively and tailor converting solutions for prospectsProficient in relevant software/applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Sales Navigator, etcExceptional interpersonal skills and experience developing strong working relationships both inside and outside of the organisationEntrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with experience learning quickly about new technologiesMust thrive in working with multidisciplinary teams, including but not limited to product, technology, legal, sales, and marketingAbility to negotiate and manage complex commercial agreementsComfortable engaging with major client decision-makers, as well as senior executives and leaders, either in one-on-one or small group presentationsExcited to challenge and be challenged and work as a team to execute the best ideaUnderstanding of financial markets and/or banking technologyExperience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insightsExperience learning quickly about new technologies and distill information into actionable insights for internal stakeholdersIdeal Candidate ProfileYou're the right fit if you:
