Job Summary:PalmPay is looking for a proactive and performance-driven Field Sales Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of our ATM Card solutions and onbord agent’s to enable market expansion. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of Nigeria’s retail, SME, and informal markets.Key Responsibilities:Agent Acquisition & ActivationIdentify and onboard agents across markets and key informal sectorsPromote PalmPay’s ATM Card payment adoptionEducate agents on transaction processes, benefits, and settlement termsEnsure successful agent’s activation and early transaction ramp-upField Sales ExecutionConduct physical sales visits, product demos, and onboarding sessionsBuild and manage a pipeline of prospective merchants and partnersCollect market intelligence and provide feedback to improve product-market fitTeam Coordination & Agent OversightWork with and supervise field sales agents to expand merchant networkEnsure targets are met through training, motivation, and field supportPerformance Monitoring & ReportingTrack daily, weekly, and monthly performance using CRM toolsReport on acquisition metrics, transaction growth, and activation success ratesProvide regular insights and suggestions to improve field strategyRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline2 years’ experience in fintech, payments, or merchant/agent services salesProven ability to execute merchant acquisition and field sales strategiesStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skillsExperience in managing field teams and working with targetsDeep knowledge of local market dynamics and payment behaviorPreferred Attributes:Tech-savvy with ability to use CRM or sales reporting toolsHighly organized, target-focused, and self-motivatedPowered by JazzHRDJIz6VnkUa
