Business Development Manager - LATAM (FDF)

Drake International is currently hiring for a Business Development Manager who has extensive experience within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically finished dosage formulations (FDF) and will be covering the Latin America (LATAM) region. Position: Business Development Manager - LATAMLocation: Panama City, Panama Schedule: 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 1PM, SaturdayEmployment: Full-time, Permanent As a Business Development Manager, you'll be covering the following responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Latin American pharmaceutical marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with local distributors, agents, and business partners Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics Work closely with the Sourcing Office/Back Office to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product registration processes and follow up to secure timely approvals. Track, analyze, and manage government/institutional tenders across the region; oversee tender preparation, documentation, and submission in coordination with local partners. Negotiate distribution agreements, tender terms, commercial conditions, and partnership contracts to ensure competitiveness and profitability.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations and effective partner support.Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events in the region to strengthen market presence. As a Business Development Manager, you should have: A bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (master’s degree/MBA preferred)A minimum of 7–10 years of proven experience in international business development, sales, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry \Extensive exposure to pharmaceutical product portfolio expansion and has successfully sourced various FDF products and partners around Latin America Interested?
