Hiring in UAE - Business Development Manager - MEP for a MEP Contracting company.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients and developers to drive growth in the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) business. The role focuses on expanding market presence, influencing project decisions, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships to grow revenue and market share.· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MEP sector across the UAE.· Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.· Position the company’s MEP solutions during pre-tender and design stages to influence project decisions.· Secure specifications and contracts for targeted projects to achieve business growth.· Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, projects, and finance) to develop tailored proposals and competitive bids· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify opportunities.· Represent the company at industry exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings.· Ensure seamless handover of secured projects to execution teams and maintain client satisfaction.· Maintain accurate and updated records of sales activities, pipeline, and market intelligence.· Contribute to the company’s brand positioning as a trusted partner in MEP solutions.· Revenue Growth: Achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets in the MEP business.· New Client Acquisition: Number and value of new MEP accounts and contracts secured.· Specification Wins: Projects where company MEP solutions are specified and awarded.· Pipeline Growth: Expansion and conversion rate of MEP project opportunities.· Client Engagement: Regular and effective interactions with developers, contractors, and consultants.· Market Share Expansion: Increased presence and penetration in the MEP sector.· Customer Retention: Renewal and repeat business from existing MEP clients.· Reporting & Compliance: Timely updates of sales forecasts, client activities, and project pipelines.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or Business Administration.Minimum 10 years of business development experience, with at least 5 years in the MEP industry.Strong knowledge of MEP projects, systems, and industry standards.Proven track record of securing specifications and winning contracts in the MEP sector.Minimum 10 years of business development experience, with at least 3 years in the MEP industry.Area Coverage: Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Sharjah
