We are looking for dedicated and motivated member to join our team and be a part of our continued growth.With clients across several industries from Paper, Pulp, Hazardous Materials, Construction, Forestry, food equipment etc.- Canamex Global is currently accepting applications for a Business Development/Sales Manager for our Annacis Island (Delta) office to assist with further growth and diversification in our warehousing division. ResponsibilitiesBusiness development and account management responsibilities- Build and manage your own client base.Identify potential clients to generate new opportunities within our warehousing sector.Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and provide customized solutions.Manage new leads from your own client base and existing leads from within the Canamex Global network & partners.Weekly meetings with the operations team to ensure smooth on boarding for new clients and management of current client bases volume, needs and overall customer satisfaction.Keep up to date with market trends and potential business opportunities.Implement a business development strategy to achieve growth and sales targets.Engage in client meetings, rate proposals, presentations and negotiations.RequirementsAt least 2 years experience in business development or sales in the logistics/supply chain, warehousing & transportation industry.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.Previous experience and connections in the Paper & Pulp industry is a key asset along with knowledge of the Ocean Import and Export Container Industry.Strong understanding of warehousing and logistics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Capable of working independently.Strong entrepreneurial skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.Experience with CRM software and other sales tools.Willingness to travel as required.CompensationBase range $70,000 - $80,000.
