With a presence in 7 countries, including the UK, our growth is supported by strong European partnerships with major electricity companies and leading automotive brands like BMW, Volvo, Porsche, and Tesla.The Role:To help drive forward our growth in the UK, ChargeGuru is looking for a driven and versatile Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit. You'll be responsible for engaging freeholders and property managers to secure the necessary wayleave agreements, enabling the installation of our fully-funded EV charging solution in apartment blocks. You will also focus on building key partnerships within the built environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, you’ll also work closely with the wider Operations and Marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery and lead generation.What you’ll do:As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force for our growth in the residential property sector. You will:Identify, source, and manage a robust pipeline of new opportunities with property managers, freeholders, developers, and asset managers.Educate and pitch to key decision-makers, clearly articulating the unique benefits of ChargeGuru's fully-funded EV charging solution for apartment blocks.Build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with our key partners across the property industry.Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation, including the successful agreement of wayleaves.Master our CRM (Salesforce) and sales pipeline tools to accurately forecast, track performance, and report on key metrics.Attend and exhibit at industry events/conferences.Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop targeted lead generation campaigns and with the Operations team to ensure a smooth handover of new clients.What you’ll need:Essential:At least 2 years of experience working within or selling directly to the property management industry.A proven track record in a B2B sales or business development role, with experience managing a full sales pipeline from prospecting to close.To be IT literate, with experience using various business platforms and CRM systems.To be fluent in spoken and written English. To be able to commute into a central London office 3 days a week.Preferable:Direct experience in negotiating and agreeing wayleaves.Previous experience related to fully-funded infrastructure projects.Working knowledge and experience of using Salesforce.What you’ll get from us:You’ll get to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing scale-up with European ambitions, that is passionate about their people and their mission to enable a sustainable future through a large-scale energy transition.
