Your day-to-day activities will involve building strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospect organisations through regular meetings, presentations, and site visits. You will collaborate extensively with operations, product development, marketing, and account management teams to design tailored solutions that solve real-world challenges faced by customers. By leveraging your deep understanding of customs regulations, trucking operations, warehousing strategies, and local market nuances, you will play an instrumental role in positioning your organisation as the trusted partner for end-to-end supply chain excellence. Success in this role means consistently exceeding acquisition targets while nurturing long-term partnerships built on trust, reliability, and shared growth objectives.Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging prospective customers who require customised logistics solutions beyond traditional freight forwarding.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline focused on value added services, ensuring consistent achievement of new customer acquisition targets and revenue goals.Manage the entire sales cycle for opportunities from prospecting through to closure in close collaboration with Sales and Product teams.Partner with Account Management teams to uncover upsell and cross-sell possibilities within existing accounts, maximising value for both clients and the organisation.Design innovative solutions that directly address specific customer pain points while enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.Coordinate closely with Solution teams to create bespoke service packages and standardised templates that meet common customer requirements.Lead customer onboarding processes and oversee seamless implementation of solutions to ensure high levels of satisfaction.Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, evolving customer needs, and strategic opportunities for growth.Act as a subject matter expert on customs procedures, offerings, and best practices within the logistics sector to support internal teams and external clients alike.Provide detailed reporting on sales performance metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline analytics to inform business strategy and highlight areas for improvement.What you bring:To excel as a Business Development Manager you will bring extensive experience from within the logistics or supply chain industry where you have successfully managed complex B2B sales cycles. Your interpersonal skills allow you to build rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders while your negotiation acumen ensures positive outcomes during contract discussions. You possess an innate curiosity about market trends which drives your proactive approach towards identifying new opportunities. Your background includes hands-on involvement with customs procedures as well as practical exposure to trucking operations and warehousing environments. You thrive when collaborating across departments-sharing knowledge generously-and are motivated by seeing collective achievements come to fruition. Your fluency in Vietnamese and English enables seamless communication internally as well as externally; any additional language skills further enhance your versatility.
