Join to apply for the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER role at Emerging Markets Political Risk Analysis (EMPRA)7 months ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER role at Emerging Markets Political Risk Analysis (EMPRA)Business Manager – GlobalMexico CityEmerging Markets Political Risk Analysis (EMPRA) is seeking a new Business Manager to join our Mexico City-based team.ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this role will directly contribute to the development of EMPRA's client base, product offerings, delivering analysis to clients, build the company's presence in Mexico and abroad, and much more.Build EMPRA's client base, network of contacts, and strategic partnershipsAssist in the development and implementation of communications and marketing strategies across brands, markets, services, and languagesContribute to improving clients' experiences by assisting them with their needs, developing new products, and moreTrack client expectations and ensure they are fulfilledAssist in daily operational activities including proofreading, formatting of documents, and other tasksDevelop and implement new tools to facilitate operations across areasProcess onboarding of new clients and staffFacilitate hiring and onboarding processesTrack expenses and financesReport to the deputy director of operations and other senior managementComfort working in fast-paced high-pressure environmentsNotes: Due to the pandemic, EMPRA is currently and entirely work-from-home business.This will change in the future but will persist during the current public health conditions prevail.Once offices reopen, this will be an in-location position based in Mexico City.RequirementsMinimum of a bachelor's degree in a business-related field, marketing, or communications.If your degree is not in one of the fields, you may demonstrate relevant experience.Please detail this in your CV and cover letterAt least two years of experience in business environments, preferably in a corporate contextExperience working directly with clients to turn their vision into marketable productsVery personable attitude with a strong capacity to work well with various teamsAbility to take initiative and work independently without supervisionProficiency in English and Spanish.Additional languages are valued but not requiredExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and G SuitePreferred Additional SkilledOnly candidates who meet these requirements need apply.Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS coding.Familiarity with supplier management platforms (e.G.
