About Ergonia DeFiErgonia DeFi is a crypto-native, proprietary trading and liquidity infrastructure business operating across on-chain markets.We partner with protocols, foundations, and DAOs to architect and deploy institutional-grade liquidity solutions — including market-making programs, vault infrastructure, automated liquidity strategies, and custom trading systems.As part of Ergonia, a leading trading and venture-building firm with deep experience in digital asset markets, Ergonia DeFi combines quantitative sophistication, technical depth, and partnership-driven execution to scale liquidity, volume, and market efficiency across DeFi ecosystems.Our team is embedded across ecosystems as a long-term partner, ensuring sustainable liquidity and healthy token markets through tailored, data-driven strategies.The RoleWe're seeking a Business Development Manager to drive partnership origination and deal execution across DeFi protocols, vault platforms, and liquidity infrastructure projects.You will represent Ergonia DeFi externally, building relationships with protocols, foundations, DAOs, and DeFi platforms to identify liquidity needs and structure bespoke market-making or liquidity provision partnerships.This role is highly strategic and externally facing: you'll be the commercial bridge between Ergonia's trading desk and the protocols we support.RequirementsPartnership Origination: Originate and develop relationships with DeFi protocols, token projects, and DAOs seeking liquidity or trading expertise supportDeal Structuring: Design and negotiate liquidity partnerships, vault integrations, market-making arrangements, and custom capital deployment frameworksEcosystem Coverage: Map and prioritize emerging ecosystems, chains, and protocols where Ergonia can add valueCounterparty Engagement: Act as the main commercial contact for external partners — managing discussions from first call through execution and ongoing relationship managementCross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Ergonia's trading, strategy, and operations teams to translate partner goals into executable liquidity strategiesMarket Intelligence: Track DeFi market trends, new protocol launches, and liquidity incentive structures to proactively identify deal opportunitiesRepresentation: Represent Ergonia DeFi at industry events, conferences, and online communities, building brand presence and trust within the ecosystemQualificationsAt least 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or institutional sales in crypto, DeFi, or financial marketsDeep understanding of DeFi market structure, liquidity provision, and DEX mechanicsProven ability to structure and close deals with protocols, token foundations, or liquidity partnersExcellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skillsStrong organizational skills: CRM discipline, pipeline management, and follow-up rigorSelf-starter with an ownership mindset, capable of operating autonomously in a fast-paced environmentPreferred ExperienceExisting network among DeFi protocol teams, foundations, or liquidity partnersFamiliarity with AMM and CLOB designs, token incentives, and on-chain liquidity programsExposure to DeFi trading, market-making, or structured liquidity productsComfort engaging with technical concepts (DEX integrations, yield vaults, etc.)Global experience and ability to operate across multiple ecosystems and time zonesBenefitsCompetitive salary & benefits Package
