Senior Business Development Manager, U.S. Federal - Hybrid | Virginia - Space ServicesAn industry-leading space and data intelligence company is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across the U.S. Federal ISR domain.This position plays a key role in expanding federal partnerships, shaping capture strategy, and driving high-value opportunities within defense, intelligence, and civil agencies. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain expertise with commercial acumen, influencing key decision-makers and building long-term relationships that help shape the future of space-enabled national security solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the federal business development strategy for ISR and Space Services, aligning with broader corporate objectives.Identify and capture multi-year opportunities across DoD, Intelligence Community, and civil agencies.Develop and execute capture strategies for large-scale federal programs and RFPs.Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government and industry, including SES, GS-15, and flag officer levels.Partner with internal engineering, product, and commercial teams to tailor solutions to mission needs.Collaborate with prime contractors, integrators, and channel partners to strengthen win probability on strategic pursuits.Represent the organisation as a thought leader at key industry events and conferences.Maintain strong awareness of federal procurement processes, funding cycles, and emerging ISR priorities.Key Requirements10+ years of federal business development, capture, or program leadership within the aerospace, defense, or ISR sectors.Demonstrated success leading multi-million-dollar pursuits and contract wins with federal agencies.Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS, OTA, and other federal procurement frameworks.Proven ability to influence and build relationships at executive levels across the U.S. government and industry partners.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Deep understanding of space-based capabilities, remote sensing, or related technologies (highly desirable).U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible) required.📩 Apply now or get in touch directly with Chloe @ EVONA – c.jakeways@evona.comI look forward to hearing from you!☺
