We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the commercial success of our leading K12 EdTech SaaS solutions in a strategic market segment (international and bilingual schools).As our Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind growth, executing a dual-track strategy of direct sales and distributor channel management. You'll work directly with school leaders to demonstrate how our platform transforms teaching, learning, and administrative efficiency.This is a rare opportunity to act as an entrepreneur within our organisation, building and executing a winning go-to-market strategy while rolling up your sleeves to do the foundational work that drives results.What You'll DoOwn the RevenueDrive new business acquisition and revenue growth for our product suite within international and bilingual schools in your territoryBuild and manage a robust pipeline through a dual-track approach: direct outbound prospecting and by developing , managing, and enabling a network of distributorsLead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through negotiation and closeAchieve and exceed quarterly and annual ARR targetsNote, you will work in tandem with a global sales force that is also incentivized to see you close opportunities.Be the Market ExpertBecome the voice of international and bilingual schools within our company, deeply understanding their unique operational models, procurement cycles, and budget approval workflowsConduct product demonstrations in both English and Mandarin Chinese, showcasing how our solutions address their specific needsGather and synthesize customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and positioningDo the WorkProactively hunt for new business through cold calls, networking, and persistent pursuit of conversations with key decision-makersIdentify, develop, and manage distributor partnerships to build a healthy and productive channel ecosystemCreate your own collateral and pitch materials when needed to win deals and enable partnersAttend conferences and education events to build relationships and generate leadsDrive Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product teams to advocate for features and enhancements that serve the international school segmentWork with Marketing to develop segment-specific campaigns, content, and lead-generation initiativesCollaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and identify expansion opportunitiesRequirementsWho You AreRequired Experience5+ years in B2B SaaS sales or business development, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in K12 EducationDirect experience selling to or working with international or bilingual schools is essentialProven expertise in both direct sales and managing distributor/channel partnersDeep understanding of International Curriculum frameworks (IGCSE, A-Level,IBDP,AP) and/or British curriculum structuresDeep understanding of the procurement processes, tender procedures, and decision-making units within international schoolsExperience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with school leadership teamsEducation Technology BackgroundFamiliarity with academic management systems, learning platforms, or assessment solutions is highly desirableUnderstanding of K12 international school operations and curriculum needsSkills And AttributesHunter mentality: You thrive on prospecting, opening doors, and creating opportunities where none existedSelf-starter: You don't wait for permission—you identify what needs to happen and make it happenCollaborative entrepreneur: You can rally teams around a shared vision and drive cross-functional initiativesExceptional communicator: You can articulate complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences, from teachers to C-suite executivesData-driven: You use CRM tools effectively, analyze pipeline metrics, and make decisions based on evidenceResilient: You handle rejection well and maintain energy and optimism through long sales cyclesLocation and LogisticsBased in ChinaComfortable working with global teams and travelling regularly to client and partner sitesValid passport and ability to travel internationally as neededAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality or sex.
