Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked as part of this process.Symrise - always inspiring more …Business Development Manager (Fine Fragrance), SEA The focal point position as Business Development Manager responsible to steer & drive growth within Fine Fragrances (FF) segment across Southeast Asia (SEA) with the primary base in Jakarta, Indonesia. This strategic role will support key markets including Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines ensuring direct client engagement, business retention and portfolio expansion in a dynamic and high potential region. The Position: Lead and manage Fine Fragrance business development activities across Indonesia, Malaysia, and the PhilippinesEstablish and nurture strong relationships with key retail FF clients in IndonesiaProvide focused support to the Fine Fragrances Key Accounts in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and client expectationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, R&D, and operations to ensure delivery of tailored solutions that meet client needsMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to ensure proactive and informed business strategiesWork closely with regional leadership to align SEA strategy with broader company objectivesEnsure timely reporting, forecasting, and tracking of sales metrics and business KPIsResponsible for other miscellaneous tasks (product labelling, mailing or coordination of goods return/product recall if required. The Ideal Candidate:Min Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Chemistry or related disciplines/fieldsPossess 3 years+ of working experience in Business Development scope with a preference in Fine Fragrances or related FMCG Fragrances sectorsProven track record in managing key accounts, driving sales growth across Indonesia & other SEA market with a strong commercial acumen, ability to "create desire" in new customers/prospects with strong hunting capabilities, resilience and result driven manner in order provide strong customer technical support & drive resultsMust be comfortable in operating in a complex stakeholder environment and creating strong buy-in to achieve business strategyStrong analytical skills and customer relationship management with excellent interpersonal skills to influence and get things done in an assertive yet collaborative approach as a dynamic team player approach/personalityStrong proficiency in both verbal and written English, Bahasa Indonesia is a strong plusWillingness to travel across SEA markets when required.
