Our products, SPOT-MAS and K-4CARE, are revolutionary cancer detection and monitoring tests that leverage advanced genetic technologies to provide for the early and accurate detection of cancer and information useful for the management of disease.Position OverviewThe U.S. Business Development Manager to join our team and help expand our partnerships across biopharma, biotech, and academia.. You will initiate, drive, and close strategic collaborations with:Academic cancer centers and KOLsOncology biotechs and pharmaCROs and clinical trial networksAdvanced labs with NGS or ex vivo cell-based infrastructureYou will work closely with internal scientific and executive teams to match partner needs with our platform capabilities.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Partner DevelopmentIdentify and engage translational researchers, clinical trial leaders, strategic accounts, and BD decision-makers to utilize Gene Solutions’ portfolio of testsLead initial outreach, meetings, and scientific presentations2. Alliance Building & ContractingDrive early-phase discussions to term sheets, MOUs, or pilot study agreementsCoordinate internal technical/scientific teams to support feasibility assessmentsNegotiate partnership scope (co-development, licensing, research use)3. Market Development & InsightsMap and update landscape of immunotherapy and precision oncology playersReport U.S. trends in NGS MRD, MCED, and LDT market Identify unmet needs and propose use cases for platform adoption4. Conference & KOL EngagementRepresent company at major conferences (AACR, SITC, ASCO, AGBT, etc.)Develop speaking opportunities, scientific posters, and BD-side eventsCultivate long-term relationships with U.S.-based KOLsQualificationsMust-Have5–10+ years in business development, alliance management, or clinical research operations in oncology diagnostics, immuno-oncology, or biotech servicesStrong network in academic cancer centers and/or pharma BD/collaborationsFamiliarity with NGS, MRD, and tumor genomics profiling and its application to biomarker discovery, clinical trial optimization, and patient stratificationPast roles with CROs, IO-focused biotechs, or molecular diagnostic companiesStrong ability to convey complex science in business contextsPreferredScientific degree (MS, PhD, and/or MBA) in biology, immunology, genomics, or relatedTrack record of closing BD deals or co-development partnershipsWillingness to “roll up your sleeves and build from scratch”Experience working with or supporting investigator-initiated trials, collaborative research studies, or real-world evidence programs Knowledge of CMS/Medicare reimbursement pathways for LDTs, system channel strategies (employer benefits, health plans, community engagement), care delivery at the provider level, and/or patient engagement strategiesWorking Style & Culture FitStrategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.Comfortable working in a Remote setting across global teams and time zones.Data-driven, proactive, and scientifically curious – comfortable with science and numbersPassionate about improving patient outcomes through innovation in precision healthcare.What We OfferHigh-impact role in a fast-growing oncology platform companyDirect visibility with executive leadershipGlobal exposure across Asia–U.S. oncology marketsFlexible remote-first setup with regular travel to conferences or sites
