Our business presence covers multiple jurisdictions with offices in the UAE, KSA, UK & Ireland, Singapore, Porto, and Qatar. We provide Regulatory Governance, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment and Technology services (the “Services”) to a large number of clients including global, regional, and local financial services institutions, governments, and other industry partners. As part of our global expansion plan, we are now looking for an ambitious and experienced business development manager to join our UAE team.Job PurposeWe are seeking a high-impact Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive end-to-end revenue growth. You will manage fast-moving inbound deals, coordinate with SMEs for discovery, define scope, and ensure smooth handovers to delivery teams while maintaining and improving our strong win rate.In parallel, you will have a hunter mentality by proactively researching and building the pipeline, targeting sought after account lists, converting net-new revenue, running disciplined follow-ups to create qualified opportunities while cross-selling across JAP services. This role suits a GCC experienced B2B consultative seller with GRC or compliance sales experience, with disciplined CRM habits (HubSpot preferred), strong scoping, objection handling and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales ExecutionProactively identify, target, and engage potential clients across the UAE and GCC region, specifically focusing on financial entities licensed by regulatory bodies such as FSRA, DFSA, VARA, CBUAE, SCA, SAMA, and CMA.Leverage market intelligence, CRM data, sales analytics to identify trends, optimize outreach strategies, and maximize lead conversion rates.Generate and nurture high-quality leads, managing the entire sales lifecycle from initial outreach, prospecting through proposal development, negotiations and successful deal closures. Hit response SLAs, qualify fast and book discovery alongside SMEs.Craft compelling, bespoke proposals and presentations to showcase j. awan & partners specialized Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) consulting and Talent Solutions.Coordinate with SME’s, Proposal teams, PMO, Legal, and Finance to deliver a complete Handover Pack.2. Client Relationship ManagementEstablish, develop and maintain strong relationships with influencers and senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives, Heads of Compliance, and HR Directors, positioning j. awan & partners as a trusted strategic advisor.3. Strategic Growth InitiativesCollaborate with the leadership team to define market penetration strategies and go-to-market plans for the GRC consulting and Talent Solutions business.Continuously monitor and analyse industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory shifts to dynamically adapt business development strategies and identify new opportunities.Conduct targeted market research to identify international businesses aiming to enter and establish operations within the GCC region and proactively engage them to position j. awan & partners as their trusted market-entry, licensing and compliance advisory partner.Review existing book of business and cross-sell JAP services to grow revenue whilst solidifying business partnerships further.Provide strategic insights and feedback to internal stakeholders to optimize service offerings, enhance competitive positioning, and drive business growth.Skills and ExperienceSkillsFluent in English, Arabic is highly desirable.Strong hunter mindset with exceptional abilities to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities proactively.Outstanding analytical skills.Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the firm and with clients.Initiative-taking professional with demonstrable ability to work independently and problem solve.Demonstrable organizational and time management skills.Experience5–8 years in B2B consulting sales (GCC experience mandatory), experience in business development, sales, recruitment, account management within the GRC/compliance or financial services industry.GRC Compliance consultancy sales experience is highly desirable.Proven experience in owning the full end-to-end sales cycle, outbound prospecting track record, building a healthy, balanced and consistent pipeline. Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly through proactive outreach and lead generation.CRM rigor (HubSpot preferred)Strong knowledge of the UAE, KSA and GCC financial regulatory landscape.Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).Compensation & BenefitsHighly competitive salary + commission including benefits package for the right individual.Discretionary performance-based bonus.Comprehensive medical insurance cover.End of Service benefits in line with operating jurisdiction requirements.
