A leading multinational corporation (MNC) is seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and expand its Lighting category in the Africa market. The role focuses on sales and revenue growth, channel development, and market presence to drive future opportunities.Job Location - DubaiResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets by expanding the client base. Manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability. Track sales performance and generate regular reports for management.Channel Development : Appoint Strategic Distributors & Dealers for lighting catering areas in B2B & B2C vertical in Africa market.Market Research & Analysis: Identify the emerging trends in the lighting Industry. Analyze competitor activities & market demands. Identify potential new markets & customer segments.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Develop & maintain strong relationship with architects, designers, contractors & distributors. Negotiate & close deals with clients & key stakeholders. Ensure Customer satisfaction & retention.Conducting the dealer trainings per quarter. It could be spilt into 4 to 5 training per month to ensure right amount of product & sales knowledge is being imparted to the dealers.Strategic Planning: Develop & implement business strategies to meet sales targets. Collaborate with marketing team to create campaigns for product promotions. Plan product launches, exhibitions & industry events.Product Knowledge & Promotions: Stay updated on the new / latest lighting designs, technologies & innovations. Educate clients about product features, benefits & installation processes. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Technical Graduate ; additional qualifications in sales or marketing are a plusExperience: 6-10 years of experience in the lighting Industry, with a focus on Business Development and network expansionIndustry : LightingSkills:Excellent communication and presentation skillsStrong relationship-building and networking abilitiesProficient in conducting effective product training and workshopsAnalytical skills for tracking sales performance and network productivityAbility to take ownership and drive initiatives to completionInitiative and drive to meet and exceed sales targetsFlexibility and adaptability to work in various market conditions
