We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (High-Voltage Transmission & Distribution) to join our client’s team in Bucharest. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional with a passion for the electrical energy and power industry to take a leading role in expanding business across high-voltage transmission and distribution projects. You’ll be at the forefront of driving strategic growth, building strong industry partnerships, and representing innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. ResponsibilitiesDeveloping strong industry networks, customer relationships, and strategic partnerships in sectors such as local EPC companies, renewable energy investment firms, and power transformer manufacturers, with a focus on high-voltage projects (110kV and above), to drive business growth and close deals;Promoting and strategically selling the company’s complete solution portfolio within targeted market segments, representing the company as an innovator and leader in the electrical and technology industry;Implementing client engagement strategies for both new and existing key accounts, including developers, end users, authorities, consultants, contractors, and channel partners, ensuring the company is recognized as a trusted and preferred partner;Screening and qualifying new projects to build and maintain a robust strategic pipeline of high-potential opportunities;Engaging early in high-voltage projects to integrate the company’s solutions and services into the project design scope before tenders are released, enhancing win rates during sales and tendering stages;Understanding key decision-makers and customer buying preferences to develop winning pursuit strategies, selecting the right offerings and channels, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions;Leading customer interactions and coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the entire sales cycle, from pre-tender design discussions to proposal development, documentation, contract and price negotiations, and successful order closure.QualificationsExtensive experience in business development, with a focus on high-voltage projects;Solid understanding of power transformers and high-voltage systems;Bachelor’s degree and advanced level of English;Proven track record of managing complex sales processes;Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills;Results-driven, detail-oriented, and professional in client-facing interactions.
