We focus on sourcing the best quality products that are fit-for-purpose and ready for seamless installation on-site.About The RoleWe are seeking a Business Development Manager, to join our dynamic Supplyhaus team located in South Brisbane. This role will see drive sales strategies across our business units (Joinery, Facades, Steel and building Products) identify opportunities, grow a pipeline of new customers and ultimately grow the Supplyhaus business.We are looking for someone who is proactive, loves the wins and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Will IncludeGrow and expand the customer pipeline through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, and strategic promotion of Supplyhaus.Drive collaboration and cross-selling opportunities across façade, steel, joinery, and building-products teams.Share leads and pipeline insights with business unit managers and estimators to identify bundled opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM (HubSpot) records and reporting to track enquiries, leads, and conversions, ensuring data quality and compliance.Audit business unit pipelines weekly to ensure accuracy and completeness.Compile sales and performance reports, including conversion rates, deal values, and budget tracking, for senior leadership.Prepare and deliver professional presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value of Supplyhaus products and services.Standardise and document end-to-end sales processes to ensure consistency across all business units, establishing clear KPIs and reporting cadence.Attend industry events, builder briefings, and supplier forums to generate leads and gather market intelligence.Translate market insights and research into actionable business development strategies.Monitor lead volumes against revenue targets and provide early alerts on potential shortfalls.Conduct market segmentation by geography, customer tier, and product category, with recommendations for priority segments and target accounts.Identify and qualify tender opportunities in advance of bid releases to position the business competitively. About YouYou are a driven sales professional that is personable and builds lasting relationships. You love the chase, celebrate the wins, and bounce back fast from the losses.Similar experience in a previous role, expanding accounts in building products, construction materials, industrial supply or similar.You know how to build long lasting relationships, you earn trust quickly, nurture it consistently, and know how to turn it into repeat business.You are commercially savvy, confident with contract fine print, margin mix and pricing.You are strategic in your approach and use various resources to identify and build your network.You understand the importance of face-to-face meetings and phone calls to build your pipeline and nurture relationships.A willingness to drive to project sites and offices across South East QLD, must have a current driver’s licence.Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Hubspot experience advantageous).You have a proactive approach to problem solving and finding solutionsYou are self-motivated to achieve your KPI’s, you are thorough and leave no stone unturnedAbout McNabMcNab is one of the largest Construction, Development and Property groups in Australia, with turnover now exceeding $1bn each year.
