PINQ² is growing rapidly and we are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to join our team.The Business Development Manager – Ontario and Western Canada role reports to the Chief of Business Development and Marketing and will play a pivotal role in expanding PINQ²’s footprint and forging influential partnerships across critical industries. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and accelerate business objectives within a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.The roleTerritory & Account Planning: Develop and execute territory plans and account strategies aligned with PINQ²’s growth objectives. Prioritize top opportunities in Ontario and Western Canada, in key verticals of Finance, Aerospace/Transport, Energy and Academia amongst others.Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Collaborate with marketing and generate qualified leads. Maintain a robust pipeline and forecast revenue accurately.Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across industry, academia, and government. Represent PINQ² at key events and conferences.Proposal & Deal Structuring: Lead the preparation of proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment with client needs and compliance requirements.Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, legal, finance) to ensure seamless execution. Report regularly on progress, risks, and wins to leadership and the board.Your profileProven experience (5+ years) in business development, preferably in technology, innovation, or consulting sectors.Experience selling HPC servicesStrong network in Ontario and Western Canada across targeted verticals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and ability to work independently.Bilingual (French/English) preferred.AssetsExperience with CRM tools and account planning frameworks.Familiarity with quantum computing or advanced digital technologies.Prior engagement with organizations like industry associations and/or academic research centers.Performance IndicatorsNumber of qualified leads and closed deals.Revenue generated and forecast accuracy.Expansion of strategic partnerships and client satisfaction.Contribution to strategic dossiers and market segmentation efforts.As a key member of our team, you'll play a direct role in making next-generation computing accessible and practical for Canadian organizations.
