With a 40-strong team in WA and a national workforce driving diversification into mining and airport infrastructure, the company combines local expertise with international backing — offering the scale, support, and vision to grow in one of the country’s most dynamic markets.The RoleThis newly created role will spearhead business development efforts across Western Australia, focusing on expanding market share in asphalt, bitumen, and related infrastructure sectors. Reporting to senior management, you’ll identify, pursue, and convert opportunities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients — from mining operators and airports to government authorities.You will lead bid development, market analysis, and pre-contract engagement—working closely with operations, engineering, and corporate teams to build a sustainable pipeline of profitable work.Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesIdentify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across WA in road, mining, and airport infrastructureLead client engagement and tender pursuits, including early positioning and relationship managementBuild and maintain strong networks with government, mining, and contractor clientsCollaborate with technical and operational teams to align bids with capability and delivery outcomesContribute to strategic planning for regional growth and diversificationRepresent the company at industry events and forums across WAWhat We Are Looking ForProven track record in business development or client relationship roles in the civil, mining, or construction sectorsDeep understanding of WA’s infrastructure market and strong local networksCommercially astute with experience in tenders, bids, and major project pursuitsConfident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship skillsAutonomous, adaptable, and capable of building credibility quickly with local stakeholdersEngineering or business qualification advantageous but not essentialWhat’s on Offer$200,000 – $250,000 + Super + Bonus (depending on experience).Permanent full-time role with a trusted and forward-focused infrastructure business.Opportunity to influence strategy, growth, and diversification across Western Australia’s infrastructure sector.Career progression opportunities within a global network of industry leaders committed to sustainable development and innovation.If you're ready to take the next step in your career, apply now or contact ilan@rec-partners.com.au for more details.Follow Rec-Partners LinkedIn page to stay updated on our latest opportunities.
