We are proud to promote a culture of innovation that is deeply rooted in the local territory while being globally oriented.Teoresi is Engineering for Human Life: excellence, attentiveness, and human value.🎯 We are looking for passionate professionals who are eager to contribute to complex projects where technology meets Swiss innovation.Join us!Teoresi Group is looking for a Business Development Manager with almost 2 years of experience in a consulting firm, fostering the growth of the activities in Switzerland.About the Role - The Business Manager (BM) has the goal to develop their own Business Unit (BU): a team of specialized engineers, which provides high-tech consulting services to the clients, developing its growth, supporting it and making it profitable. The BM reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer Teoresi SA, and they are responsible for all commercial activities of the BU, developing relationships with the main players in the sector and they are responsible for the customers satisfaction of the services provided. Being the main operational and strategic decision maker, they are responsible for the following topics:Business strategies and Business development:Defining the strategies of the development and solutions selling of engineering services;Developing Commercial relationship with clients and Prospecting;Managing the entire business life cycle;Analysing competitive landscape;Cooperating in the development of strategic and operational marketing;Diversifying the existing services;Participating in the definition of the annual business planning.Customer relationship management:Monitoring the customers activities, anticipating the needs and winning new projects;Strengthening the position in the existing business segments;Monitoring the customers activities, anticipating the needs and winning new projects;Assessing customer satisfaction;Financial management:Managing the P&L of the business unit;Providing advanced P&L analysis, identifying potential issues and developing action plans to optimize revenue and contribution margin;Billing management;Managing the cash-in process.Human resources management and recruitment:Participating in the recruitment activities (sourcing, interviewing, reporting, contract signing, etc.);Defining and monitoring the career development of the team (role allocation, assessment, key people engagement, etc.);Managing and balancing the workload of the team.Lastly, the BM is responsible of the achievement of the revenue and profitability targets assigned to their BU!Qualifications - An Engineering degree is preferred, and an MBA is considered an additional qualification.Required Skills - The experience gained in an engineering consulting firm is a must; the one in the Medtech, Digital sector, Industrial of Financial is a nice to have. Strong entrepreneurial spirit, proactivity, outstanding communication skills, natural leadership, teamworking, empathy.Location: Switzerland - Basel, Lugano, Zurich, Bern, and Geneva.
