Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will take full ownership of your assigned territory by creating and executing strategic sales plans that grow revenue and increase booked guests. This includes conducting regular sales calls, leading targeted sales blitzes, and maintaining consistent engagement with travel agency partners through in-person meetings, webinars, calls, and written communication. A strong focus will be placed on achieving both quarterly and annual revenue targets.You will drive the expansion of the corporate and MICE segment by identifying potential opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and positioning cruise products as ideal solutions for corporate retreats, incentives, and events. This involves building strong networks with corporate planners and event organizers while preparing proposals tailored to each opportunity.Relationship management plays a central role in this position. You will nurture long-term partnerships with travel agents, corporate clients, and internal stakeholders. Close collaboration with directors, regional leads, and cross-functional teams will help manage key accounts and uncover new avenues for growth.A significant part of your role involves training and educating industry partners. You will deliver presentations, conduct webinars, organize ship inspections, and host seminars at sea to enhance product knowledge and equip partners with the tools they need to sell confidently.Your work will also include strategic execution of marketing and promotional initiatives. You will plan tailored marketing campaigns, manage co-op budgets, provide marketing support for agency partners, and ensure promotional materials are effectively utilized.Data analysis will guide your decisions. You will maintain CRM records, conduct sales reviews, track ROI, measure retention, and present regular performance updates to key accounts. Insights from market trends and competitive research will help you identify new opportunities and refine your strategy.RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experienceStrong background in B2B sales, ideally within travel, hospitality, or cruise industries.Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships with agencies, corporate clients, and industry partners.Confident communicator who is comfortable presenting to groups, hosting training sessions, and engaging diverse audiences.Analytical mindset with experience using CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and business review processes.Strategic thinker who can balance long-term planning with day-to-day execution.High level of initiative, resilience, and drive to achieve sales targets.Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.Previous experience in corporate sales or the MICE segment is an advantage.
