As an international company we are looking for a Business Development Manager in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a reputable university,6 + years' prior business development experience, of which at least 3+ years in Mauritania solar energy sector,Strong communication and interpersonal skills,Proven knowledge of executing successful business development strategies,Ability to plan, coordinate/ monitor all sales and marketing operations in Mauritania,Having vast knowledge about market regulations, customary trends and developments including innovative practices,Being in direct contact with customers, third parties as well as other departments making sure that profitability is the main priority,Focused and goal-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills,Proficiency in written and spoken English (preferred),No travel restriction.

Job Description:

Identify partnership opportunities in MauritaniaDevelop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand in the market,Think critically when planning to assure project success,Market identification, investigation & knowledge,Propose and develop market strategyIdentify, contact and establish relationship with targeted customers with the view of generating leads and request for quotationsLeads Go/No Go discussions in relation to new leads and RFQsCoordinates the communication with the clients and internally during bid preparationPrepares proposals and defines the appropriate price levels necessary to secure projects, in respect with the company’s target profit margin and in line with approval procedureLeads the commercial discussions and negotiations until contract awardCoordinates with operational teams for handover upon awardLeads commercial aspects of ongoing projects in coordination with the project managerParticipate in the internal tender approval process for the bids where it is requiredCollect information relating to the bids and organize it in a way to support continuous improvement of the bidding processActively propose actions and take part in continuous improvement processFulfilling other duties assigned within the scope of responsibilities and work objectives
