Business Development OfficerLocation: Belize City | Full-Time | On-SiteCompany: Guerra Engineering Ltd. Guerra Engineering Ltd. is a leading provider of HVAC, generator, and elevator systems in Belize. We are trusted by top-tier brands such as Carrier and OTIS for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning units, elevators, generators, and electrical supplies. We are currently seeking a results-driven Business Development Officer to support and accelerate our growth strategy. Position SummaryThe Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting strategic expansion initiatives. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to represent our diverse product offerings across multiple sectors.

Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and qualify leads through market research, networking, and direct outreachIdentify and pursue business opportunities in HVAC, Generator, and Elevator/Escalator sectorsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry stakeholdersPrepare and present tailored business proposals and quotationsConduct site visits and deliver accurate cost estimatesContribute to the company’s regional expansion initiatives, including development of outlets in key locations such as Placencia and Caye CaulkerAnalyze market trends and competitor activity to support strategic planningDevelop and implement online engagement strategies through platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn to strengthen Guerra’s digital presenceCollaborate with internal departments to align customer needs with technical solutionsQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, preferably in a technical or service-driven industryDemonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage client accountsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailProficiency in basic mathematics and familiarity with pricing structuresWillingness to travel frequently for site visits and client meetingsWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, office-based position requiring frequent field visits and client interaction.
