The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and crafting new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team. You'll be identifying key decision makers whilst adopting a creative outreach to qualify prospects and successfully position Checkout.com’s value proposition.How you will make an impact How you’ll make an impactConsistently exceed targets on a monthly basisDisplay a creative prospecting cadence for targeted accountsBecome the authority on all things Checkout.comUnderstand our customers needs to demonstrate the Checkout.com value propositionKeep your ear to the ground to ensure the latest developments in different industriesLearn and use various sales tools to networkWork very closely with our sales team to help streamline the sales process whilst improving your knowledge.What we’re looking forHunter Mindset: A proactive and positive attitude with a talent for navigating pathways to reach key decision-makers.Outbound Sales Experience: 2+ years in an outbound sales role, with a proven track record of successfully selling complex products or services to enterprise customers.Industry Knowledge: Experience in the payments industry or with Chinese merchants going global is a significant advantage.Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, whether written, verbal, or in person, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels (including senior stakeholders)Familiarity with Sales Tools: Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SimilarWeb, Lusha, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.Passion for Sales: A genuine enthusiasm for sales, coupled with resilience in the face of objections, turning challenges into opportunities.Intellectual Curiosity: An eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving landscape, with a proactive approach to personal and professional growth.Fast-Paced Environment: A desire to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment.Fluent in Mandarin and English: Strong communication skills in both languages are essential for engaging with decision-makers in APAC.
