With these accolades, we continue to grow and expand our employee community with people who are passionate about joining us on this exciting journey.Job PurposeAs we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we are looking for a Business Development Representative.We are looking for a high-energy and dynamic Business Development Representative to create new business opportunities to help us continue to scale and deliver against our growth ambitions. This role will be responsible for outbound activities with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and can set the tone for the entire customer engagement. This role is key for the success of our sales teams and can be highly rewarding financially.The working hours for this role are 8:00 AM – 5 PM EST with flexibility to 9 AM – 6 PM EST as you will support prospect calls in PST time zones. Our current team is supportive and sociable which creates a strong, collaborative and fun environment in which to work.Main ResponsibilitiesEngage with potential prospects over phone, email and social channels to qualify and set appointments for our account executives.Collaboratively work with account executives to identify and target enterprise level accounts by leveraging intelligence toolsCreate and maintain active engagement strategies to create awareness and education with prospects through informed, creative follow-ups in partnership with your account executiveResearch, build out and develop prospective accounts within our CRMPartner with marketing teams to support messaging, initiatives, campaigns and identify the best target market segmentsAchieve quotas and KPIs RequirementsMinimum of 6 to 18 months' experience in a sales or sales development capacity within a software or technology environmentAbility to quickly engage with prospects over email, phone, social and in personClear and concise communication skills, both written and verballyFamiliar with sales engagement, enrichment and intelligence tools for prospectingFamiliar with CRM and other outbound toolsQuick learner and team playerDetermined, able to overcome objections and not afraid of rejectionDesire to progress a career in salesEffective time management to complete objectivesExperience of exceeding results and other KPIsAbility to thrive in a high energy team environmentWe are united by a shared purpose and are committed to truly understanding each other.
