Business Development Representative BeNeLuxAI & Computer Vision in Waste Management | Start-up with Impact | Based in Hasselt (Belgium)About RematicsRematics is a fast-growing Belgian start-up helping the waste industry operate smarter, more efficiently, and more sustainably.Using AI and computer vision, we analyse collected waste in real time — directly on the collection truck.Our solution combines custom hardware, edge-AI software, and an online customer platform, giving both public and private waste collectors immediate insights into sorting quality, non-conformities, and operational efficiency.Rematics is in a strong growth phase, with active customers in Belgium and partnerships with leading industry players such as Valipac, Fost Plus, and Denuo.Your MissionAs Business Development Representative BeNeLux, you are the commercial driving force behind Rematics. You open doors, build relationships, and translate technological innovation into tangible customer value. From the first prospecting call to launching pilot projects — you make sure our solutions reach the right decision-makers. You will report directly to the CEO and have the opportunity to help shape the commercial growth of an ambitious tech scale-up from the ground up.What You’ll DoActively identify and approach new customers across public and private waste collection companies in the BeNeLux region.Manage the full solution-selling cycle: needs analysis, demo, proposal, and deal closing.Develop pilot projects into long-term partnerships.Represent Rematics at trade shows, industry events, and networking moments.Proactively build and maintain a strong professional network within the sector.Collaborate closely with the CEO and technical team to translate market feedback into product improvements.Who You Are3–5 years of B2B sales experience (mid-level), preferably in a technical or industrial environment.Experience or affinity with the waste, logistics, or smart-city sectors is a plus.A true builder — entrepreneurial, self-driven, and results-oriented.You sell solutions, not boxes — understanding customer needs and translating technology into business value.Professionally trilingual: Dutch, French, and English.Solid knowledge of Office tools and general IT terminology.Strong commercial flair and persuasive communication skills.What We OfferA key role in a fast-moving, technology-driven start-up.The opportunity to build and grow our commercial organisation from the inside.A competitive salary package with performance-based bonus.Company car with fuel card and additional benefits (meal vouchers, net allowance, insurances).40-hour work week with 20 vacation days + 12 compensatory days (ADV).Flexible working hours and plenty of autonomy.An inspiring workplace in Hasselt, with the freedom to spend time on the road.A warm, supportive team that values initiative, growth, and fun.Ready to Make an Impact?Are you the entrepreneurial Business Development Representative who will help Rematics grow?Send your CV and short motivation to hr@rematics.be
