Job description:Velocity Flex is looking for a motivated, independent sales professional to grow our client’s business in custom packing, crating, and compliance services.What You’ll DoFind and develop new business opportunitiesBuild strong relationships with clients needing packaging for hazardous and non-hazardous goodsPresent and promote services to drive sales growthMeet clients in person—locally and at trade shows or eventsUnderstand customer needs around packaging, hazmat rules, warehousing, and shippingResponsibilitiesManage a sales pipeline and close dealsCreate tailored proposals and presentationsWork with internal teams to deliver great serviceMaintain long-term client relationshipsUse sales tools like Dynamic Business Central to track performanceSupport marketing efforts and attend industry eventsHelp develop strategies with marketing and account teamsEducate clients on services and ensure satisfactionManage accounts and support teammates when neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience3+ years in outside sales, ideally in packaging, logistics, or cargo servicesKnowledge of crating, packing, and transit solutionsStrong sales and customer service skillsProficient in MS Office and CRM toolsWilling to travel locally and attend events (up to 15% travel)Hazmat/dangerous goods experience is a plusSkills & TraitsExcellent communicator and presenterStrategic and organizedAble to juggle multiple projectsDetail-oriented and results-drivenSelf-starter with leadership potentialEnergetic and adaptableWork ScheduleMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMFlexibility to work extra hours when needed
