Key ResponsibilitiesBI Solution Development & Optimization (40%) Design and implement scalable dashboards, reports, and analytics using automation and storytelling to enhance business thinking. Standardize and streamline reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility.Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering (30%) Collaborate with business units to collect requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support strategic initiatives through effective reporting and data modeling.Platform Stability & Governance (15%) Ensure BI environments, reports, and data models are stable, secure, and well-documented. Lead incident resolution, enforce governance, and drive continuous improvement in performance and reliability.Quality Assurance & Change Management (10%) Promote adherence to QA and change management standards. Define metrics, evaluate solutions, and mentor teams to uphold system integrity and minimize implementation risk.Project Leadership (5%) Manage cross-functional BI projects, coordinate resources, and provide status updates to stakeholders. Act as lead data modeler on complex initiatives.Basic Quialifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field.Broad knowledge in visualization techniques, Knowledge in visual story telling with data, designing highly automated descriptive analytics/reporting solutions, building, integrating and managing databases, creating data models, especially within the PowerBI stack, understanding of business needs and processes.Knowledge of PowerB, Excel, SSRS and Tableau, SharePoint, PowerApps, MSFlow, SQL and/or SASKnowledge in effective and compelling communication to technical and non-technical departmentsPreferredMasters Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field.Experience – Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the fields of insurance, analytics and reportingGood interpersonal skills with ability to work across organizational boundaries.Profound in analyzing data and make strong recommendations based on findings.Profound in prioritizing tasks with shifting deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Profound in working independently with little guidance while still meeting objectives
