Business Intelligence Analyst

A Global Fintech organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its team in Madrid. This role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, strengthening data quality, and supporting business decision-making across multiple departments.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce and maintain monthly performance and operational reports to support data-driven decisionsDevelop and document standardised reporting frameworks, including data validation and quality checksGather, clean, and analyse data from various internal sources to ensure accuracy and consistencyIdentify patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic planning across HR, Operations, and other teamsUtilise department-specific dashboards and support enhancements where requiredPartner with internal stakeholders to interpret reporting needs and deliver meaningful outputsRecommend and implement automation solutions to streamline reporting activitiesDeliver reports within set deadlines, highlighting key findings and anomaliesAssist with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as neededSkills & ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligenceAdvanced Excel capability (complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation)Hands-on experience with Power BIStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large or complex datasetsProven ability to produce and manage recurring monthly reportsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: €45,000–€50,000 after the initial contract periodComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, transport/meal allowances, tuition reimbursement, and wellness initiatives
