Woogaroo Creek State School, a vibrant new school, is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join their leadership team to oversee and optimize our financial and administrative functions. This role will be temporary full time commencing November 2025 or January 2026 (negotiable) until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. If you are ready to bring your expertise yo our school community, we invite you to apply and help drive our success.About UsWoogaroo Creek State School, established in 2023, is a vibrant new school in Augustine Heights committed to empowering students to REACH new heights.About The RoleAs the Business Manager you will manage the delivery of a range of corporate services, support educational management activities and lead the development of systemic change by actively supporting the school management team and school community.You will oversee the delivery of administrative, financial and human resources support, including the supervision of lower level school support staff and influencing stakeholders on sensitive issues.The Business Manager reports to the Principal and liaises with Deputy Principal, and wider leadership team.Responsibilities include, but not limited to;Deliver a broad spectrum of high-level administrative support, proactively identifying issues, conducting research, consulting with experts, and recommending solutions to enhance student educational outcomes.Assist the Principal in budget planning and management, including the execution of routine financial operations and oversight of daily financial transactions.Manage and supervise school support staff on a day-to-day basis, including allocation of tasks, monitoring of workload, and performance evaluation to ensure efficient and effective support services.Exhibit strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, including empathy, self-awareness, and trust-building, particularly in sensitive situations.
