Grown responsibly with our farmer partners, our spice ingredients form the foundation of flavors that delight consumers and ensure the future of our global supply chain. ofi offers a diverse portfolio of spices, herbs, and sauces, including organic options.OVERVIEW OF POSITIONWe are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused Business Manager to join our Private Label Spices vertical. This role is about translating strategic vision into actionable plans and driving key initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. You will gain extensive exposure to global operations, complex supply chains, and strategic customer relationships within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is an ideal role for a high-potential individual looking to deepen their strategic and operational expertise within a leading global food ingredients company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Strategic Planning & Analysis Support:- Take part in the annual strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Private Label Spices vertical.- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and internal performance diagnostics to identify growth opportunities and areas for efficiency improvement.- Develop robust financial models and analytical frameworks to evaluate strategic initiatives, product profitability (e.g., SKU rationalization), and investment proposals.2. Project Management & Implementation Lead:- Lead and manage key strategic projects from concept to execution, focusing on initiatives related to supply chain optimization, operational efficiency, new product development, and customer-specific solutions.- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of project milestones across operations, R&D, sales, and quality assurance.- Monitor and report on project progress, identify roadblocks, and propose solutions to keep initiatives on track.3. Operational & Supply Chain Excellence:- Collaborate closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and implement operational efficiencies, improve forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and reduce waste.- Support in identifying and addressing critical inefficiencies within the global spice sourcing, processing, and distribution networks.- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices in quality control and food safety specific to private label production.4. Commercial & Customer Insight:- Support the Key Account Management teams in developing strategic proposals and analyzing customer-specific data to identify sales opportunities and improve contract terms.- Conduct analyses to better understand retailer demands, category trends, and consumer preferences to inform product development and portfolio strategies.- Prepare compelling presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and external customer engagements.5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Private Label Spices vertical, monitoring progress against strategic goals and targets.- Provide regular performance reports and insights, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Management:- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, Legal) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, 3PLs).- Ensure all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies, and ethical codes of conduct.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONEducation: An MBA from a top-tier business school (e.g., INSEAD, Wharton, Stanford, London Business School) is highly preferred.Experience:- Preferred professional experience in a dynamic corporate environment, with a strong preference for backgrounds in: + Management Consulting (with project exposure to FMCG/Food & Beverage, supply chain, or operational excellence). + Internal Strategy or Business Development roles within a large FMCG/Food & Beverage company. + Operational or Commercial roles with significant analytical and project management responsibilities in food, beverage, or ingredients manufacturing.- Experience in Private Label or working directly with major retailers is a significant plus.- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic projects and initiatives, delivering quantifiable results.- Familiarity with global supply chain complexities, including sourcing, logistics, and manufacturing processes.Skills:- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel) and data visualization.- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex information and articulating clear recommendations to senior leadership.- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and build strong collaborative relationships.- Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a problem-solving mindset.- Proficiency in relevant enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools is a plus.ofi is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
