Business Performance Specialist

Role Overview: To analyze, measure, and monitor business performance across the company by collecting and interpreting operational and financial data, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing strategic recommendations to management to enhance operational efficiency and achieve growth objectives in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector.Key Responsibilities:Business Performance Analysis:Collect and analyze operational and financial data related to IoT projects and products.Monitor departmental and project performance against set objectives and identify deviations and their root causes.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management.KPI Management:Develop, update, and maintain company-wide and departmental KPIs.Ensure the accuracy and transparency of data used in performance measurement.Regularly review performance indicators with concerned teams to ensure goal alignment.Strategic Planning and Decision Support:Participate in developing annual and operational plans.Provide both quantitative and qualitative analyses to support executive decision-making.Assist in prioritizing projects and initiatives based on expected impact and strategic value.Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency:Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in business processes and propose improvement initiatives.Support digital transformation projects and process automation using modern analytics tools.Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system integration and automate reporting processes.Reporting and Dashboard Development:Design and develop performance dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management highlighting trends, insights, and recommendations.Ensure that performance dashboards and reports are regularly updated and data accuracy is maintained.Market and Competitor Analysis:Conduct market and competitor performance analysis within the IoT industry.Identify new business opportunities and areas of competitive advantage.Prepare benchmarking reports to compare company performance against industry standards.Performance Projects Management:Participate in planning and implementing corporate performance improvement initiatives.Coordinate periodic performance review meetings, document key outputs, and track action plans.Follow up on the implementation of performance recommendations and assess their effectiveness.Cross-Departmental Collaboration:Maintain continuous coordination with different departments (Finance, Sales, Operations, Technology).Provide analytical and performance support to help departments achieve their operational goals.Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams to foster continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).3 to 6 years of experience in business performance analysis, business development, or project management — preferably within the technology or IoT sector.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
