This role will focus on capturing, modeling, and optimizing end-to-end Finance processes that span across AP, AR, Intercompany, Tax, Treasury, and other key functions.The BPM Specialist will partner with Global Process Owners and SMEs,across Flowserve to identify integration points between functions and ERPs, and translate complex workflows into clear, standardized models in ARIS. This position is critical to bridging the knowledge gap where SMEs can describe “what they do,” but cannot fully articulate how their processes interface upstream and downstream. The BPM Specialist brings both Finance operational knowledge and process-architecture expertise to uncover dependencies, drive alignment, and enable transformation initiatives.Responsibilities: Process Modeling:Create and maintain business process models using ARISWork with various departments within Finance and other organizations within Flowserve to gather information on existing processes.Apply hands-on Finance knowledge to challenge and validate SME input, ensuring models reflect reality versus perceptionCreate clear and comprehensive process maps to illustrate workflow, inputs, outputs, and interfaces.Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.Work with SMEs, Process Owners and project teams to design future state process models to streamline and optimize operations.Review peers work to ensure BPM teams process documentation is complete.Mentor junior team members on how to perform effective process walkthroughs and complete documentation.Create SOPs to support the models generated within ARIS.Identify gaps, redundancies, and quick-win opportunities for standardization or automation Process Mining:Utilize process mining software (e.g., Celonis, ARIS, Disco, etc.) to analyze process data.Extract and prepare data from various systems for process mining activities.Identify patterns, deviations, and areas for improvement in business processes.Monitor and measure the impact of process changes. Data AnalysisPerform data cleaning, transformation, and analysis to support process mining initiatives.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
