As our new Business Unit Manager (SPM), you’ll be at the forefront of strategic leadership, product excellence and market expansion. Based in Poland or Greece, this field-based role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our Sports Medicine portfolio across a dynamic and diverse region.What will you be doing?You’ll lead and inspire the PL & EE Sports Medicine team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and performance. Your strategic vision will guide commercial execution, from forecasting and budget planning to product launches and distributor partnerships. You’ll be the go-to expert for implants and instruments, supporting tenders and negotiations with deep product knowledge. Marketing will be your playground, where you’ll drive campaigns, events and educational programs in partnership with KOLs and the Medical Education team. And through it all, you’ll ensure compliance, track performance and represent Smith+Nephew at key industry events.What will you need to be successful?Success in this role means being a dynamic leader and commercial strategist with a passion for healthcare innovation. You’ll bring:Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, ideally within medical devices, sports medicine or healthcareA strong track record in sales management, marketing execution and product strategyExperience in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching and career growthAbility to manage complexity across multiple countries and cultures, aligning cross-functional teams and distributor partnersExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skillsDeep understanding of product positioning, pricing strategy and market intelligenceFluency in English and willingness to travel across Poland and Eastern Europe; knowledge of other Eastern European languages is a plusYou.
